This frisbee is the perfect size for our small (30 lbs) border collie. It is not too heavy or too big for her, and it can be made to go straight. It's easy to see in the dark. We've tried lots of other kinds, and this is the one that works for her and for us.We throw this frisbee well, and that is not the case with many other brands. And it's cheap!
By far the most superior lighted disc I've ever used. It is bright and changes colors in flight! The weight is perfect. It flys just like a 175 g disc. A must have for any frisbee player. Ultimate games can finally last all night.
For some reason this frisbee lacks the trademark ridges that make other Wham-O frisbees so easy to grip! Not recommended.
I picked up one of these flying discs just a couple of weeks ago. I have a green one, but they are available in red, blue, and multicolors as well. It's a well made American product---which makes this disc an easy choice over the competition---that flies straight and does not hurt to catch (at least with the hand).
These smaller, softer discs are even better than the full-size for playing with a dog.We play right after dark. Our yellow Lab has the Night Dawg collar and she has the MOST fun, while we love the light show.We have hit them into trees, our fence, and one even went briefly into our brook and they haven't lost their colours. And these Junior size have a much smarter battery system. We lost the battery on one of the full-size, which is why we switched to these and I'm glad we did because these are even better than the wonderful original.Really a brilliant toy and sooooo much fun for frisbee after dark.
I play with both discraft and whamo... No noticeable difference.. Maybe if your a pro or a faithful of discraft (or maybe work for them).. then you can tell the difference or at least will claim that discraft is the best...Apparently that must be the case in some of the other reviews... But for casual players and backyard frisbee enthusiasts (like me) this disc is a great flying disc and has a great feel to me...But hey, I am a regular guy... I like Discraft too... I like golf too... but I do not claim allegiance to Titlest either, or Nike Golf shirts. Its a brand for all sakes........ I just don't fall into that Taste Great - Less filling, Ford - chevy, Democrat - Republican camps like so many reviewers do... Its a frisbee... My only gripe with Whamo is,there ridiculous trademark claim on the word frisbee....Good disc... You won't be disappointed...
