Best Fitness BFVK10 Vertical Knee Raise Review

Best Fitness BFVK10 Vertical Knee RaiseThe product arrived earlier than I expected, which was a plus. During the installation process, I noticed the manufacturing defect on the bottom parallel support beam (the one that connects the vertical legs). As a result, the stand is a little crooked. It's not balanced and wobbles a bit so I had to jam a piece of cardboard under it to keep the it stable. The pull-up bar is a hollow tube and feels flimsy while I'm exercising. I'm not a big guy and weigh only 160 pounds. At times, I get the uneasy feeling that the pull-up bar will bend and snap off.The rubber grips keep slipping off while doing pull-ups so I removed them and wrapped the bar with tape. Don't try performing pull-ups too fast or else this stand will tip over. This equipment stands 85 inches tall and is 24.5 inches wide. The dip handles feel sturdy, but again, try not to do it too fast or else it will tip. For the price, you can find other better equipments. I decided to get this one because the dimensions fit my home gym. I didn't pay full retail price for it since I had a gift card, still, I was expecting better quality.

Stamina 1700 Power Tower Review

Stamina 1700 Power TowerMy biggest concern was if this can handle 6'3 265lbs of weight. It is sturdy. Only thing I didn't like was the pushup bars but they aren't bad but you can't go DEEP cause there is a bar that will touch your head before you get to that point. I mainly got this for pullups and leg raises anyway it's a nice addition to my home gym. Own mine now for a little over a year I didn't wanna do a review till I knew this was very solid and long lasting.

Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar - Extreme Edition Review

Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar - Extreme EditionI was a little leery of making this purchase.Normally, products that seem too simple for too reasonable of a price just never end up satisfying in the way you hope (e.g. The Dodge Neon, anything on Jack in the Box's value menu, my two years at DeVry). But this?Oh.Oh, my faith has been restored in cheap American products.

Because, you see, kids. This is a WELL ENGINEERED cheap American product.Yes, a rarity.I was worried that it would be difficult to assemble.I was worried that it wouldn't really hang from my door frame.I was worried that it would break under my underwhelming 155lbs.I was worried the Utah Jazz wouldn't be able to gear up and start winning road games as the playoffs grew nigh.

I mostly worried for naught.

I assembled the Iron Gym Extreme in about 15 minutes.Probably could have done so a lot more quickly, but I was distracted by Boston Legal on DVD, and by gunning my power ratchet wrench at my cat to stop her from playing in the packing materials.

(Note:You do NOT need your own tools to assemble this product. It comes with a little tool. But you can speed up the process with your own tools. You should have your own tools anyway, you know?Be a man.)

Once you assemble the Iron Gym Extreme, you'll need to pick a doorway. It seemed to fit all my doorways perfectly, but I have heard word of older houses having issues. You will need to insert a small metal wedge into the top of your doorjamb. This helps to secure the device and make sure it doesn't fall on anyone's head. It's not as scary as it sounds, you just kinda shove the thing behind the wood. Then you kinda wiggle it and say "Will that hold it?"Then a few minutes later you say "Gol-darn, it WILL hold it.Ain't that somethin'."Should any friends be standing nearby, this would be an excellent time to exchange high-fives.

I then chin-upped.Well, I tried.God as my witness I had no idea I was such a puss.I had like no upper-body strength.I'm pretty sure I heard my cat laughing at me somewhere down the hall behind me, but the blood was thumping in my ears so I can't be sure. But the bar sure worked!

I didn't give up and kept at the bar. Now, no, several weeks later I'm nowhere close to entering any Ultimate Fighting Competitions or anything, but I can do buttloads of reps now, and my cat has stopped mocking me.

This product has been excellent.Buy with confidence.

The Utah Jazz, however, appear to be headed towards a first-round sweep at the hands of the L.A. Lakers.

Crap.

Once you're done with your back workout, you can quickly move the Iron Gym to the floor, where you can perform pushups while facing down, tricep dips while facing the other way, or sit-ups using the Iron Gym for foot stability.

BodyCraft F430 Power Rack Review

BodyCraft F430 Power RackFirst of all, excuse my english, I'm from Denmark and don't have time to use a dictonary.
I have owned a bodycraft powerrack for over 1 year. Me and my brother trains 3 times pr. week (full body program).
This powerrack is realy good. The only thing that I don't like about the powerrack is that it is not heigh enough soo that we can perform standing militarypress inside the powerrack. Besides that everything else is just perfect. The powerrack seems solid enough (we dont train that heavy - benchpress 110 kg, ca. 220 lb). there is plenty of space inside the rack, which is a big advantage. I really have only good things to say about this powerrack, except for the lack of posibility to perform standing militarypress inside the rack. It is very easy and fast to change the height of both the spotters and the safepins, which also is a very big advantage. You do also dont need the space that is required for at powerrack where you pull the saftypins out.
Please don't by the cable attachment. I havent got it my self/so I really don't know. But I seriously doubt that there is place to put your bench,to have a spotter (traningspartner) and so on if you include anything else than the powerrack.
But remember to buy the dip sticks. I'm really glad that I included them when I bought the rack.
All you need to train hardcore is this bodycraft powerrack, a really solid bench with leg curl attachment, a good olympic set, a set of dumbells where you can change the weight, a belt where you can hang barbells and a stepbench.
If I should buy another powerrack, I would for sure buy this one again, becourse now I know that this rack is really good.
It is a very good idea to draw on your powerrack (write the names of the diffrent exercises on the rack the right places), soo that you can find vhere the saftypins etc is going to be acording to the difrent exercises, this will save you a lot of time.
This powerrack rocks. Besides the lack of height inside the rack, everything else is just perfect.Me and my brother really love to work out in this perfect piece of equipment. P.s. I havent done any real testing of the strenght of the powerrack (I dont toss around the bar or weights), and we havent lost the grip on the bar jet. sooreally don't know how solid this powerrack really is. But for over a year me and my brother have trained really hard on the rack, and the rack still looks and feels like new. So if you dont lift extreme heavy or throw around with the bar, then I don't think that the rack will ever break.
