Sports Equipment Stores: Nikon ProStaff 3-9x50 Riflescope (Silver, Nikoplex) Review

This is another great product from Nikon.
I already have several in use, but have only mounted this one on my new Savage Model 93 rifle.
It looks really good on the stainless steel receiver and sets off the whole outfit really well.
One note, when ordering or buying the rings to mount, be sure and get the ones that will handle a 50mm objective lense. My first attempt did not work.

Product Description:
The Nikon ProStaff 3-9x50 riflescope has what it takes to accommodate almost any hunting style, including enough power for the longest shots and a wide field of view for thick brush and timber. The scope's main features include a multicoated lens system for up to 90 percent light transmission, a Nikoplex reticle for easy targeting, and precise, repeatable 1/4 MOA reticle adjustments. The most popular of Nikon's reticles, the Nikoplex is composed of a thick outer crosshair that "steps down" to a finer crosshair in the center. The finer crosshair leads your eye to the subject, allowing you to quickly target your prey and enjoy a more efficient overall performance.
The scope's high-performance lenses, meanwhile, are coated with multiple layers of anti-reflective compounds. The compounds serve to boost light transmission, improve contrast (to pull game out of its surroundings), deliver true color rendition and flare-free viewing, and enhance the overall image quality. Plus, the ProStaff scope is ready for years of reliable service thanks to its 100 percent waterproof and fogproof housing. The scope is O-ring sealed and nitrogen filled to ensure that neither fog nor any other kind of moisture penetrates the interior.
